Google Launches Simplified Application Program

Google earlier this week launched a program that allows anyone to create simple applications on smartphones with Android operating system.

"Inventor App for Android" facilitate all those programmers and non-programmers, professionals and students-to create an Android OS-based mobile phone applications. Google said in his blog post, "To use the App Inventor, you do not have to become a developer, this tool does not require knowledge of programming."

"You can make all kinds of applications you can imagine through the App Inventor," explains Google in a post on his blog. App Inventor provides access to a sensor location - GPS, so that we can create an application that shows the location of a person. "You can make an application to know where you parked your car, an application that shows the location of your friends or colleagues when watching a concert or while attending a conference," Google added.

Android, an open source platform has been used by several leading handset manufacturers to support the device. Google, the internet giant, said more than 160,000 Android OS powered phones are sold each day.
